BioTully Satre is a junior in high school at Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg, and is also enrolled with Lord Fairfax Community College. He is a Virginia Certified Emergency Medical Technician and member of the Warrenton Volunteer Rescue Squad. He founded Equality Fauquier/Culpeper and serves as the current executive director. In January 2006, Tully founded Commonwealth Education Equality Virginia (CEEVA), Virginia’s statewide organization advocating for GLBT/Q youth, and is current chairman of the board. He also directs The Voice Project, an internet outreach program for GLBT/Q youth which also promotes civic participation among teens for equality. Tully is the official blog writer for The Advocate, and also maintains a personal blog on activism. He was accepted the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia in the summer of 2006, and was third runner up for the Youth Entrepreneur Scholarship Award of the Greater Washington area. Tully lives in Culpeper with his mother and father.
